Managing your Talent Network

A Talent Network is an optional Consider product, so this page applies only if your organization has one. Without a Talent Network, your Talent Pool still includes profiles your team adds and people who apply to jobs posted through Consider.

Your Talent Pool and Talent Network are related, but they are not the same thing.

Your Talent Pool is the collection of talent profiles available to your organization in Consider. If your organization has a Talent Network, people who join the network become part of that Talent Pool.

Your Talent Pool can also include profiles added directly by your team and people who apply to jobs posted through Consider.

Profiles in your Talent Pool

Profiles can enter your Talent Pool in several ways:

  • Added by your team. Profiles can be imported individually from LinkedIn using the Consider Chrome Extension, or added manually.
  • Talent Network members. People who join your Talent Network become part of your Talent Pool.
  • Applicants via Consider. When your organization posts a job through Consider to your own job board, either for your organization or on behalf of a member company, people who apply through Consider are added to your Talent Pool as Applicants via Consider.

This gives your team one place to work with talent gathered through different parts of the Consider platform.

Sharing your Talent Network with member companies

You control whether Talent Network member profiles are available to your member companies.

You can choose to:

  • Share the Talent Network with all member companies. Participating companies can access Talent Network member profiles.
  • Keep the Talent Network private to your organization. Talent Network member profiles remain available only to your team.

A member company does not receive access to Talent Network member profiles simply because it appears on your Consider Job Board.

Sharing talent through hiring projects

To collaborate with a member company on specific candidates, create a hiring project and share that project with the company.

You can share a project with a company in two ways: signed-in, through their Consider workspace, or through an external view link that does not require them to sign in or create a Consider account. See Hiring projects for how each works.

Your team can add multiple talent profiles to the shared project. The member company can also add profiles to the same project, creating a shared candidate list for the hiring work.

Notes and tags added to profiles in a shared project are also shared with the participating company through that project.

Sharing a hiring project does not give the member company access to your full Talent Pool or, when applicable, to your full Talent Network.

Exporting your Talent Pool

You can export the profiles in your Talent Pool to a CSV file at any time.

The export gives your team a portable copy of the talent data available in the Talent Pool for reporting or use outside Consider.
