Setting up your Talent Network

A Consider Talent Network is an optional product that can be added to a Consider Job Board. It gives people a way to create a profile and join your network so your team can identify talent for opportunities across your member companies.

Talent Network member profiles are available only when your organization has a Consider Talent Network.

Your Talent Pool

Your organization has its own Talent Pool in Consider. The Talent Pool contains the talent profiles available to your team.

Profiles can enter your Talent Pool in several ways:

  • Added by your team. Profiles can be imported individually from LinkedIn using the Consider Chrome Extension, or added manually.
  • Talent Network members. If your organization has a Talent Network, people who join it become part of your Talent Pool.
  • Applicants via Consider. When your organization posts a job through Consider to your own job board, either for your organization or on behalf of a member company, people who apply to that job through Consider are added to your Talent Pool as Applicants via Consider.

You can export the profiles in your Talent Pool to a CSV file at any time.

Add the Talent Network to your job board

When a Talent Network is enabled, Consider adds a Talent Network entry point to your job board so visitors can join your network in addition to browsing open jobs.

Consider handles the setup as part of your Talent Network deployment. Your Customer Success Manager will coordinate the configuration with your team.

Configure the candidate experience

Your Talent Network uses your organization’s identity and appears as part of the job board experience.

During setup, Consider will work with you on the candidate-facing content used to explain the network and invite people to join.

The sign-up flow can be customized to include your own questions for job seekers.

Candidates create their own profiles and provide information about their background and interests. Joining the Talent Network is separate from applying to a specific job.

Candidate privacy and consent

Candidates choose to join the Talent Network and provide their information for talent and hiring purposes.

The signup experience includes the applicable terms and privacy information so candidates understand how their profile information may be used and shared.

For more information about candidate visibility and data use, see Consider Privacy policy.

Choose whether to share Talent Network profiles

You control whether Talent Network member profiles are shared with your member companies.

During setup, you can choose to make Talent Network profiles available to all member companies or keep them available only to your own team.

A Consider Job Board by itself does not give member companies access to Talent Network member profiles.

Talent Sharing of specific profiles is separate from this setting. A company can be given access to an individual profile shared with it without receiving access to the Talent Network as a whole.

Before launch

Before the Talent Network is made available, Consider will confirm the candidate-facing experience and profile-sharing settings with your team.

After launch, your team can manage the profiles in its Talent Pool, work with Talent Network members, and share talent with member companies. See Managing your Talent Network for ongoing use.
