Once a candidate is in a hiring project, you can use their profile to find available contact information, record outreach, add notes, and keep their project stage up to date.
Open the candidate’s profile and look next to their name for the available email address.
Click the email address to open the contact details dialog. From there, you can add other email addresses or phone numbers you have for the candidate.
If Consider does not have an email address for the candidate, you will see Add email instead. Click Add email to open the same dialog and add an email address, phone number, or both.
Contact information is visible to team members who have permission to view it.
Select the candidate’s email address from their profile to start a message in your email client.
The message is sent from your work email account, and replies return to your inbox.
When contacting someone from the host’s Talent Network, remember that the person has joined the network for talent and hiring purposes. Personalize your outreach to the candidate and the opportunity you are contacting them about.
After contacting a candidate, record the activity on their profile.
Logging outreach helps your team see that the candidate has already been contacted and reduces the chance that multiple people reach out independently.
Use notes on the candidate’s profile to record information your team needs during the hiring process, such as:
If the candidate is part of a shared project or external view, check the note’s visibility before adding information that should remain within your company.
See Hiring projects for more information about sharing projects and note visibility.
As the candidate moves through your hiring process, update their stage in the hiring project.
Keeping project stages current gives your team an up-to-date view of the candidate pipeline.
