Hiring projects give your team a place to organize candidates for a specific role or hiring effort.
Use a project to build a candidate list, track candidates through your hiring process, and collaborate with colleagues or other teams involved in the search.
To create a hiring project:
Include enough information to describe the type of candidate you want to find. If Suggestions is enabled for your workspace, Consider also uses the project description to generate candidate suggestions.
You can add profiles from your Talent Pool to a hiring project as you identify people you want to consider for the role.
You can also add a profile directly from LinkedIn using the Consider Chrome Extension.
See Adding candidates for more ways to add talent to your workspace and projects.
Candidates in a project can be moved through the available project stages as your team reviews and works with them.
Use the project to keep the candidate list and hiring activity for the role together in one place.
You can invite colleagues to join a project.
Project members can add or remove candidates, update candidate stages, invite other team members, and edit the project details.
Colleagues who are not project members can still view an open project and recommend candidates as contributors. Project members can then review those recommendations.
A project can be shared privately with another company, including the organization operating your job board.
People at the other company sign in to their own Consider workspace to access the shared project.
Both teams can add profiles to the shared project and work from the same candidate list. Notes and tags added to profiles in the shared project are also visible to the participating teams.
Sharing a project does not give either company access to the other company’s full Talent Pool.
You can create an external view when you want someone to review a project’s candidate list without signing in to a Consider workspace.
To create an external view:
Anyone with access to the link can view the profiles included in that external view.
Review the notes on candidate profiles before creating or sharing an external view.
Notes can have different visibility settings:
Make sure confidential or internal comments are set to the appropriate visibility before sharing the project.
Suggestions is an optional feature. When it is enabled for your workspace, Consider can suggest candidates based on the information in the project and your team’s activity.
See Reviewing suggestions for information about reviewing and working with suggested candidates.
