Setting up a Consider Job Board requires a few pieces of information from your team. Consider handles the job board deployment, design matching, and identification of job sources for your member companies.
There are three ways to provide your member company list:
You do not need to provide careers-page or job-posting URLs for each company. Consider identifies the relevant public careers pages, third-party job boards, and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) sources and collects the available jobs.
You can also add or update individual companies later when needed.
Your job board runs on a dedicated subdomain, such as jobs.yourcompany.com or careers.yourcompany.com.
A Consider Job Board cannot be hosted from a subpath such as yourcompany.com/jobs. It requires its own subdomain.
To connect the subdomain, add the following CNAME record through your DNS provider:
jobs or careersCNAMEboards.consider.comDNS changes often take effect quickly but can take up to 24 hours to propagate.
Once the CNAME record has been added, notify your Customer Success Manager so Consider can complete the domain setup and provision the SSL certificate.
As part of deployment, Consider matches the job board to your main website, including its navigation, fonts, colors, and other relevant design elements.
You do not need to design the job board or provide separate page designs. Consider uses your existing website as the reference.
Minor adjustments, such as navigation changes, can be reflected after launch. Larger website redesigns may require additional design work.
To track job board traffic alongside your main website, provide your Google Analytics measurement ID or Google Tag Manager container ID to your Customer Success Manager.
Consider will add the tracking configuration to your job board so visitor activity is reported to your existing analytics property.
Consider configures the company data, job sources, subdomain, and design and checks the board before it goes live.
Once launched, jobs collected from company careers pages, third-party job boards, and ATS platforms are updated as those source listings change.
